I built an Academy to build a better class of Magicians.
I will be taking you step by step, through everything you need to become, not only a competent Magician, but a great Magician. Working on your own style, and getting you performing the right tricks for you.
Everyone is different. So why would you teach the same tricks to everyone?
Yes, there are the fundamentals! Which are like a bedrock foundation. And we will make sure you master them well. But with that foundation, we will start looking at who you want to be as a performer and will tailor what you're taught to make you a unique magician.
But I wont just be teaching raw techniques or methods, instead I'll be teaching the complete works, the methods, how I perform each trick, why I perform it like I do, how to create your own way of performing each trick, how I cover up mistakes on the go and how to creating off the cuff miracles that only that audience will be apart of.

... Yes, you can youtube magic tutorials, but they are made mainly by 13 year old kids
who have only performed the trick once... If you're lucky.
I wanted to take years of performing everyday & distil ten years of trial and error -
fast tracking you to becoming a true performer: With the right tricks, with your own style and
real world knowledge of how and why Magic works.

What does the course look like?
Great Question! Well here's all the details.
We have two separate Academies, one in Brighton & one in London. Both taught by John.
Classes are weekly in Brighton (Mondays) and London. (Tuesdays)
You can select what time is best for you when you enrol. ​
​
The course itself is made up of four terms. Each term is two months long and is separated by one month in between each term. In other words, 8 consecutive weekly lessons, then a month gap for individual practice, then the next term starts.

Classes will be one hour long. You can select what time is best for you when enrol.
Each term costs £149 (to be paid in full at the start of each term)
If you can't commit to a weekly lesson due to busy/rotating work rotors, but still want to learn magic we offer drop in lessons which are £25 per lesson.
